Church of the Holy Spirit Orchard Hills (or Orchard Hills for short) is an Anglican church conveniently located near the Roanoke County / Botetourt County border on Cloverdale Road (Route 220 ALT). We are part of the Anglican Mission in America
If you are looking for a Roanoke church or Botetourt church home, come and visit us! Not every church fits every personality, so it is important to spend time researching churches and visiting before you settle down - we have all been through that process from time to time.
Our church has people from all ages and all walks of life : business managers, small business owners, computer programmers, stay-at-home moms, salespeople, engineers, construction workers, and we all share a desire to meet each week to worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to socialize with one another in an informal setting.
We have a large and active youth program, and a safe and fun nursery and Sunday School program. This Roanoke church is unlike most others - Rev. Scott McLucas brings practical sermons that we can all relate to in our everyday lives in a manner that reaches out to everyone - regardless of your Christian background.
He worked for more than 15 years as a successful business manager before being called by God to leave the comfortable financial life he had built for his family to spread the great news about Jesus Christ. Because of this background, he can relate to the struggles and temptations that we all face day to day in the workplace.
Scott and many members are also active with several mission trips each year to Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Our mission field also includes the Roanoke Valley and Botetourt County; reaching out each day to our friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
We want everyone to know that when you put your faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, you WILL find peace, and your persective on life will change!
